Product Strategy Analyst

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Information Management; or 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within retail, merchandising, procurement, category support, business analysis, or a consumer-focused environment.
• Retail, agricultural, livestock, or related industry experience is an asset.
• Strong interest in retail, products, customers, competitors, and commercial business decisions.
• Research skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and determine what is relevant to the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful business insights.
• Comfortable working with sales, inventory, pricing, and other business information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Copilot applications.
• Experience working with large datasets and building dashboards/analytical models to support business decisions.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accurate and timely work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present analysis and recommendations.
• Ability to work independently while also building effective relationships and seeking guidance to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
