Key skills for this role
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the LINQ Connect and School Fees experience. LINQ Connect is our flagship parent-facing product — the way families fund their child's meal account, pay school fees, and see what's on the lunch menu. As our primary B2C offering, LINQ Connect and its supporting features are a critical engagement platform for districts connecting with families.
As the Product Manager, you’ll own this product area end to end — discovery, requirements, delivery, launch, and post-launch iteration. You are the voice of the family and the district for this product, the driver of the roadmap, and the person accountable for outcomes. Given you’ll be working on products in a complex and regulated domain, your execution and judgement in prioritization will have real impact.

New ways to help districts engage families beyond payments and meal accounts.
Own the product lifecycle for LINQ Connect and School Fees: discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch iteration.
Gather and synthesize requirements for the product line. Evaluate stakeholder and customer requests against the underlying need, distinguishing the loudest ask from the one that actually moves outcomes for families and districts.
Translate business, regulatory, and user needs into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and maintain a healthy product backlog, balancing enhancements, defects, technical improvements, and compliance-driven work.
Lead agile ceremonies in partnership with engineering and QA — sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
Build and maintain a product roadmap that reflects strategic priorities and communicates clearly to stakeholders.
Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early; surface them proactively with options and recommendations.
Collaborate and negotiate with other teams to manage cross-product dependencies.
Monitor the competitive landscape and customer feedback to continuously refine product direction.
Support product launches, including documentation, release readiness, and internal enablement.
2 to 5 years of product management experience on SaaS or complex business applications, or equivalent practical experience. Experience managing applications on a meaningful scale (hundreds of thousands of active users) is a plus.
Experience managing consumer-facing (B2C) native mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms.
Experience managing a product backlog and working within agile development practices.
Proven ability to turn your inputs (data, research, customer requests) into tangible, demonstrable outcomes for users and the business.
Experience using multi-modal research techniques to inform decisions and validate assumptions.
Strong enough technical fluency to have credible conversations with engineering about tradeoffs, constraints, and architecture.
Comfort managing competing priorities and making judgment calls with incomplete information.
Ability to collaborate and build trust with cross-functional partners without formal authority.
Experience working in or adjacent to regulated domains (HR, payroll, finance, compliance, EdTech) is a plus.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate work and brings curiosity about how AI can help the team validate ideas faster, both internally and with customers.
Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience. Domain expertise and demonstrated PM craft carry more weight than academic background.
K-12 administrative software company serving school districts and state agencies with finance, HR, nutrition, payments, and operations.
