About the Role

Responsibilities
- Define and continuously evolve the ERP product vision, strategy, and outcome driven roadmap
- Define and own the ERP product line’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in partnership with Business Owners
- Define and own the ERP’s integration and interoperability strategy
- Maintain ongoing product discovery practice with Business Systems Analysts
- Own and prioritise the ERP product backlog across its full lifecycle
- Lead and manage 7–10 direct reports and guide functional/dual reports
- Ensure all ERP development follows a Human Centred Design approach
- Drive organisation wide change management and communications for ERP evolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, department heads, and key stakeholders
- Own the ERP product line’s budget and demonstrate ROI to the DT Steering Committee
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience
- ITIL certification or recognized agile/product certification (e.g., PSPO, SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute PMC)
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in ERP operation support (Microsoft D365)
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in product management
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in roll out, maintenance, upgrades and customizations of ERPs
- Proven experience in leading and managing large teams in matrix based organization
- Proven experience in contract and supplier management
- Fluent spoken and written English

Organizational Context
- IFRC is the world's largest humanitarian network with 191 member National Societies.
- The Digital Transformation Department (DTD) leads digital transformation strategy implementation.
- The ERP product manager reports to the GSC IT Manager based in Budapest, Hungary.
Job Purpose
- Develop the ERP product vision, roadmap and service to provide a global digital platform.
- Lead organization wide use and improvement of the ERP product to meet future needs.
- Manage up to 30 direct and dual reports across the world.
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and continuously evolve the ERP product vision, strategy, and outcome driven roadmap.
- Define and own the ERP product line’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Define and own the ERP’s integration and interoperability strategy.
- Maintain ongoing product discovery practice with Business Systems Analysts.
Product Delivery & Team Leadership
- Own and prioritise the ERP product backlog across its full lifecycle.
- Maintain visibility of the ERP’s technical debt and ensure it is tracked.
- Lead and manage 7–10 direct reports and guide functional/dual reports.
- Ensure all ERP development follows a Human Centred Design approach.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure all required inputs for ERP product governance bodies are prepared.
- Drive organisation wide change management and communications for ERP evolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
- Build a network of peers inside and outside the IFRC network.
Operations & Continuous Improvements
- Continuously monitor ERP performance, availability, user satisfaction, and key metrics.
- Work with Information Security team to implement security measures.
- Work with Service team to ensure effective ERP support model.
- Oversee timely and quality release and patch management.
Resource And Supplier Management
- Own the ERP product line’s budget and demonstrate ROI.
- Ensure license model is appropriate and delivers value for money.
- Own the product level strategic relationship with ERP suppliers.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- ITIL certification or recognized agile/product certification.
Experience
- Min. 7 years professional experience in ERP operation support (Microsoft D365).
- Proven experience in leading & managing large teams in matrix based organisation.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in product management.
- Minimum 7 years professional experience in roll out, maintenance, upgrades and customizations of ERPs.
- Proven experience in contract and supplier management.
