- Provide guidance and support to reporting personnel and stakeholders on contractual obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (ISCED Level 6) or equivalent
- CIPS qualified or industry equivalent
- Minimum 10 years supply chain experience demonstrating results and progression to similar position
- Detailed understanding of subcontracting/procurement concepts and principles
- Experience with complex commercial evaluations, negotiations, and terms and conditions
- Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation

Role Overview
- Wood is currently recruiting for a Procurement Team Lead to join its UAE business unit focusing on supervision and guidance of a deployed supply chain project team.
- This is a full time onsite position in Dubai, UAE with travel requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision and guidance of a deployed supply chain project team responsible for all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting.
- Clear understanding of the client's head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and incorporates those into appropriate project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions.
- Regularly monitors and reports progress of all project procurement activities. Ensures team regularly update reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management.
Expected Qualifications
- Educated to ISCED Level 6 (Bachelor Degree or Equivalent) CIPS qualified or industry equivalent.
- Record of skills training appropriate for job specific role.
- Minimum 10 years SC experience demonstrating results and progression to a similar position.
- Detailed understanding of key subcontracting / procurement concepts and principles.
