Requirements

- Professional fluency in English
- Deep practical knowledge of UAE construction market

Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly resourceful and commercially sharp Construction Procurement Specialist to oversee end to end purchasing for our major construction projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess deep, practical knowledge of the UAE construction market, including established relationships with local manufacturers, material suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Professional fluency in English and a valid UAE Driving License are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Sourcing & Procurement: Source and procure bulk construction materials, including civil structural supplies (ready mix concrete, steel rebar, blocks, cement), architectural finishes, MEP components, and specialized site equipment.
- Local Vendor Management: Maintain and expand a strong database of qualified local UAE suppliers. Conduct factory audits, supplier evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Commercial Negotiation: Evaluate supplier quotations, perform comprehensive cost comparison analyses, and negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve maximum cost savings.
- LPO & Subcontract Administration: Prepare, issue, and manage Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and material supply contracts in strict compliance with project budgets and cash flow requirements.
- Technical Compliance Coordination: Collaborate closely with Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors (QS), and Construction Managers to ensure all procured materials precisely match approved Material Submittals and project specifications.
- Logistics & On Site Mobility: Monitor delivery timelines and coordinate logistics to prevent site progress bottlenecks. Utilize local mobility to handle urgent on site material inspections, resolve supplier disputes, and verify material quality firsthand.
