Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3 5 years of procurement experience within interior fit out, construction, design & build, or contracting companies
- Proven experience procuring fit out materials, joinery items, MEP materials, finishes, and subcontractor services
- Experience in UAE/GCC construction industry preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of fit out materials, construction processes, and market suppliers
- Understanding of procurement procedures, contracts, and commercial terms
- Excellent analytical and cost management abilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Job Summary
- The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement process for fit out and interior construction projects, including sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring compliance.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source materials, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and subcontractors required for fit out projects.
- Obtain and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to improve competitiveness and supply chain reliability.
- Resolve supplier related issues, disputes, and delivery delays.
Project Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Teams, and Site Engineers to understand procurement requirements.
- Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely supply to project sites.
- Monitor project procurement costs and report variances.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Assist in preparing procurement budgets and cost estimates.
- Ensure procurement activities remain within approved project budgets.
- Track market trends and material cost fluctuations.
- Identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing procurement documentation.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate material replenishment.
- Coordinate deliveries, storage, and logistics with suppliers and site teams.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize inventory control.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of procurement experience within interior fit out, construction, design & build, or contracting companies.
- Proven experience procuring fit out materials, joinery items, MEP materials, finishes, and subcontractor services.
