Overview
- A leading international design studio with a strong presence in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join its Dubai office. This is a senior, hands on role responsible for overseeing financial management, operational performance, and business reporting across the
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Produce accurate statistics, forecasts, and performance reporting for senior management.
- Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Ensure financial compliance with internal and external standards.
- Liaise closely with the London Finance Director on reporting and controls.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and develop a team of four finance/operations professionals.
- Implement best practice systems and procedures across the team.
- Oversee day to day operational functions of the Dubai office.
- Support business efficiency across departments including design, project delivery, and administration.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and operational costs.
- Contribute to process improvement and business optimisation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Finance & Operations Manager role.
- Strong background in management accounting and reporting.
- Experience managing payroll and leading small teams.
- Previous experience in a design, architecture, construction, or professional services environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with international stakeholders.
- Experience in the Middle East is advantageous but not essential.

- Monthly salary of AED 30,000 – 32,000 (dependent on experience).
