About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Officer with mandatory experience in switchgear products to manage strategic sourcing, technical alignment with engineering teams, and end-to-end order and inventory management.

Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international switchgear suppliers and distributors to secure cost effective, high quality materials.
- Partner with Engineering and Production teams to understand material specifications and ensure all purchased items comply with strict technical requirements.
- Process PRs/POs, track critical materials, resolve delivery delays, and work with stores to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Follow up closely with suppliers to meet tight project deadlines and proactively resolve any supply chain bottlenecks.
- Maintain impeccable, audit ready procurement files and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of mandatory procurement experience specifically within Switchgear products.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is compulsory.
- Established network and knowledge of switchgear suppliers/distributors in the UAE market.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Systems & Software: Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is compulsory.
- Market Knowledge: Established network and knowledge of switchgear suppliers/distributors in the UAE market.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
