Role Description
- The Procurement Officer is a part time role based in Dubai, with a hybrid work arrangement combining on site responsibilities with work from home flexibility.
- The role involves managing end to end procurement activities, including preparing purchase requests, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers.
- The role also requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and contributing to process improvements that support the Society’s mission.
Qualifications
- Skills in Procurement and Purchasing to manage sourcing, supplier selection, and purchasing cycles effectively.
- Skills in Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation to prepare documentation, negotiate terms, and support supplier agreements.
- Strong Analytical Skills to compare quotations, evaluate vendor performance, and optimize cost and quality.
- Relevant experience in healthcare, non profit, or similar regulated environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setting and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic office software and procurement tools; familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
