- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team of Procurement Operations specialists
- Oversee team workload, set performance objectives, and manage resource allocation
- Support execution and refinement of procurement operating model including intake, approvals, purchasing, and vendor onboarding
- Lead optimization and administration of procurement systems (Astra, Coupa, Ironclad)
- Implement and administer procurement policies, governance frameworks, and approval structures
- Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve stakeholder experience
- Establish and maintain procurement analytics and reporting on spend, cycle times, savings, and performance
- Partner with Finance leadership to manage spend visibility and budget controls
- Lead cross functional alignment with Finance and Accounts Payable to standardize invoicing procedures
- Lead audit, SOX, and compliance reporting
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procurement, or related roles
- 1–3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong experience with procurement systems (Astra, Coupa, Ironclad, or similar tools)
- Experience designing and optimizing procurement processes and operating models
- Extensive experience working with Finance, Legal, IT, and cross functional stakeholders
- Fluency in English as a working language

Role Overview
- The Manager, Procurement Operations role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily execution, process optimization, and scaling of Lightspeed's global Procurement Operations function.
- Acts as a vital partner to Finance leadership, ensuring spend visibility, maintaining budgetary controls, and supporting financial governance.
- Will build, mentor, and develop a high performing team of specialists.

- Oversee team workload, set clear performance objectives, and manage resource allocation.
- Drive team engagement and professional growth.
- Support execution and refinement of procurement operating model including intake, approvals, purchasing, and vendor onboarding.
- Lead optimization and administration of procurement systems (Astra, Coupa, Ironclad).
- Implement and administer procurement policies, governance frameworks, and approval structures.
- Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve stakeholder experience.
- Participate in Lightspeed’s Vendor Management program.
- Establish and maintain procurement analytics and reporting.
- Partner with Finance leadership to manage spend visibility and budget controls.
- Lead cross functional alignment with Finance and Accounts Payable.

What you need to bring
- 5–7+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procurement, or related roles.
- 1–3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Proven ability to manage a team's workflow in a fast paced, high growth environment.
- Strong experience with procurement systems (Astra, Coupa, Ironclad, or similar tools).
- Experience designing and optimizing procurement processes and operating models.
