Procurement Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Role Overview

Core Procurement Responsibilities

• Source and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors across the UAE.
• Issue RFQs using approved BOQs, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Evaluate quotations, prepare commercial comparison sheets, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Coordinate procurement with QS and cost control teams to remain within approved project budgets.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract documentation following internal approval.

Delivery and Cost Control

• Maintain project procurement schedules and identify long-lead items for early escalation.
• Follow up material production, approvals, and delivery dates with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate deliveries with Project Managers and Site Engineers.
• Track PO values, committed costs, payment terms, invoices, and outstanding deliveries.
• Verify supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and delivered quantities.

Supplier and Records Management

• Maintain approved supplier and subcontractor databases and develop alternative sources.
• Coordinate samples, technical data sheets, and required documentation with project and design teams.
• Support value engineering and alternative material sourcing where required.
• Maintain complete procurement records for every project.

Procurement Packages

• Packages include joinery, gypsum and ceilings, flooring and tiling, glass and metal works, painting, and decorative finishes.
• Additional packages include HVAC, electrical and plumbing, fire fighting and fire alarm, kitchen equipment, lighting, sanitary ware, doors, signage, furniture, FF&E, and specialist fit-out materials.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6 years of procurement experience.
• Interior fit-out experience is preferred, particularly in the UAE.
• Strong UAE supplier and subcontractor network.
• Knowledge of fit-out materials, specifications, and subcontract packages.
• Experience with commercial, retail, F&B, office, gym, clinic, or hospitality fit-outs.
• Ability to read BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong negotiation, budget, cost control, Excel, reporting, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage procurement for several projects simultaneously.
• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Experience

• UAE experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with an established Dubai fit-out supplier and subcontractor network are preferred.
