Role Overview
The role develops and executes category strategies, manages strategic supplier relationships, and delivers value across professional services and corporate functions.
The position has significant exposure to senior leadership and focuses on procurement excellence, cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies across professional services and corporate functions.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and supplier performance.
- Drive procurement excellence, cost optimization, and risk management across the spend portfolio.
- Partner with senior leaders and engage directly with executive leadership.
- Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Develop and lead procurement teams.
- Drive value through category strategies, supplier partnerships, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional engagement.
Key Requirements
- Five to ten years of procurement experience, including at least two years managing indirect procurement categories.
- Strong professional services category management experience across HR, IT, insurance, consulting, and corporate services.
- Background in FMCG, food and beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing environments.
