Agthia Group is establishing a new Group Data & AI function.
The role leads data engineering and platform architecture from the ground up.
The position is a hands-on leadership role involving personal delivery, code or work review, and technical standard setting.
What you will own
- Own cloud lakehouse architecture, including storage, compute, security, and access control.
- Build data pipelines and integrations across ERP, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing systems.
- Create the certified semantic layer used for group reporting, analytics, and AI models.
- Establish DataOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
- Lead a growing engineering team and coordinate offshore and vendor resources.
What you will bring
- Strong experience in data engineering and cloud data platform delivery.
- Deep experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Factory.
- Deep experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Workflows.
- Strong SQL, Python, and Spark skills.
- Experience building data platforms in immature or fragmented environments.
- Comfort with ambiguity and with setting standards where none exist yet.
