- JASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Lead (Director) to oversee and lead our procurement operations at a strategic level.
- This role involves providing leadership and direction to the procurement department while ensuring alignment with the organization's overall goals and project requirements.
- The Procurement Lead will drive procurement strategies, optimize supply chain efficiencies, and foster strong vendor relationships to support the successful delivery of Giga projects.
- Lead and manage the procurement function across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to procurement teams to achieve operational excellence
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with project objectives
- Monitor procurement performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 20 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role
- Proven track record in managing procurement for large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to lead and develop high-performing procurement teams
- Experience with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
