Job Overview
Azizi Developments seeks a senior Procurement Engineer - Civil Materials to manage procurement of civil materials for residential and commercial building projects.
The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of experience in procurement, strong expertise in civil finishing materials, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with international suppliers and manufacturers to procure civil materials and services, leveraging knowledge of global markets to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on their track record, reliability, technical capability, commercial competitiveness, and ability to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, and delivery schedules with suppliers to maximize procurement outcomes.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and key technical requirements and identify opportunities for cost optimization and savings.
- Ensure that all purchased materials comply with approved project specifications, applicable standards, quality requirements, and technical requirements.
