We are looking for an experienced Senior Material Engineer to join our Fit-Out Factory team based in Dubai South.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fit-out materials, technical submittals, material approvals and manufacturing processes.
Material Submittals & Approvals
- Prepare, review and submit material submittals for consultant/client approval.
- Ensure materials comply with project specifications, IFC drawings and authority requirements.
- Track approvals and coordinate with consultants and suppliers.
Material Selection & Evaluation
- Evaluate interior finishes including wood, laminate, veneer, paint, stone, glass, flooring, ceilings and wall systems.
- Review joinery systems, hardware, technical data sheets, samples and mock-ups.
- Coordinate with Design teams and propose alternative materials for value engineering.
Procurement & Factory Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement for sourcing approved materials and suppliers.
- Ensure materials meet project requirements, budget and lead times.
- Coordinate material requirements with factory production schedules.
