Role Description
Support supply chain operations, vendor interactions, and operational purchasing workflows.
Report to the Procurement Manager or Purchasing Lead.
Work with Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and external suppliers to procure goods and services efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and issue approved purchase orders.
- Track delivery schedules and maintain vendor databases.
- Obtain comparative supplier quotations and prepare pricing comparisons.
- Conduct initial quality checks and match delivery orders with invoices.
- Monitor safety stock thresholds and update purchasing logs.
- Resolve delivery discrepancies and coordinate basic vendor performance reviews.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Procurement and Inventory Requirements
- Experience generating purchase orders, converting requisitions, matching delivery orders, and auditing vendor invoices.
