Role Description
Support daily procurement and purchasing activities involving products, materials, and services.
Help ensure goods and services are sourced and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review purchase requirements and prepare and process purchase orders.
- Request and compare supplier quotations, pricing, and product specifications.
- Coordinate order confirmations and follow up on supplier availability, quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed about order status and potential issues.
- Work with procurement, purchasing, finance, warehouse, inventory, and operations teams.
- Maintain supplier records, update procurement systems, organize purchasing documents, and check invoices.
- Prepare reports and assist with supplier-related administrative activities.
- Maintain accurate data, identify discrepancies, and support procurement process improvements and compliance with established procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of procurement, purchasing, supplier management, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
