Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality one-to-one tuition in the specialist subject.
• Align tuition with the student's curriculum, academic level, and examination requirements.
• Assess performance, identify support needs, strengthen subject knowledge, and address gaps in understanding.
• Support homework, coursework, assignments, school assessments, and external examination preparation.
• Develop revision, examination, and independent study techniques.
• Prepare tailored learning materials, exercises, and extension activities.
• Monitor academic progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Challenge the student appropriately while building confidence, motivation, and independence.
• Communicate with the family about academic progress and priorities.
• Coordinate with the student's school or other educators when required.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and encouraging learning environment.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the specialist subject and experience teaching at secondary and/or advanced academic levels are required.
• Understanding of the British curriculum or another recognised international curriculum is expected.
• Familiarity with examination specifications, assessment requirements, and recognised examination boards is expected.
• The teacher must explain complex concepts clearly and tailor tuition to the student's learning style and academic profile.
• Excellent communication, organisation, interpersonal skills, patience, discretion, and professional judgement are expected.
• A bachelor's degree in the specialist subject or related discipline is preferred.
• QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
• Several years of teaching or private tutoring experience and experience preparing students for external examinations are preferred.
• Positive and verifiable professional references are required.
• Prior long-term one-to-one tuition or experience with high-profile, VVIP, royal, diplomatic, or international families is advantageous but not essential.

Working Arrangements

• This is a part-time private teaching position based primarily in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Teaching hours will be arranged around the student's school timetable and academic commitments.
• The teacher should be reasonably flexible and adapt the schedule to academic priorities.
• Additional support may occasionally be required during examinations, revision periods, school holidays, or other important academic stages.
• Exact working days and hours will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Travel and Confidentiality

• Occasional domestic or international travel may be required to maintain continuity of the student's education.
• The teacher must maintain complete confidentiality regarding the student, family, household, schedules, travel arrangements, and other private information.
• The teacher must not disclose, publish, photograph, record, or share confidential information without prior permission.

• Position: Private Subject Teacher.
• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Employment: Part-time.

• Working hours: Part-time and scheduled around the student's academic requirements.
