Role overview
The Principal Power Systems Engineer is responsible for technical execution of Advanced Distribution Management System projects from planning through cutover.
The role is the primary technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders and supports high-quality, on-time project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical execution of ADMS projects from planning through cutover.
- Lead full ADMS project execution and deliver against project goals.
- Identify risks and evolving requirements and maintain a broad project perspective.
- Ensure adoption readiness and customer satisfaction with delivered solutions.
- Manage competing priorities for project milestones and customer needs.
- Triage reported variances and determine next steps and escalation paths.
- Bridge customer needs with internal technical resources.
- Document variances and resolution plans consistently and completely.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Lead or participate in workshops, training sessions, and testing events.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or computer engineering.
