- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
- Ensure team member adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Support standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Provide specialist technical support, supervision and advice to discipline and project teams.
- Manage electrical engineering services and act as electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory
- Vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Offshore projects
- Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts
- Qatar project experience with knowledge of Kahramaa standards is preferred
- Mandatory experience in details design engineering projects from O & Gas consultancies

- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
- Provide specialist technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline and project teams.
- Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline.
- Collaborates with project team in review of project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.
- Leads weekly Electrical meetings, reviews progress reports and required checking procedures.
Education and Experience
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
- Must have vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Offshore projects.
- Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts.
- Qatar project experience with knowledge of Kahramaa standards is preferred.
- Mandatory experience in details design engineering projects from O & Gas consultancies.
