Position Overview
- The HVAC/Environmental Control Unit Field Technician is responsible for operations and maintenance of PATRIOT Environmental Control cooling units on ECS, ICC, CRG, and BMC.
- This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE and is short term only.
What You Will Do
- Operate and maintain PATRIOT Environmental Control cooling units on Engagement Control Station, Information and Coordination Center, Communications Relay Group, and Battery/Battalion Maintenance Center.
- Utilize UAE Central Maintenance Facility test equipment for repair and maintenance of environmental control units.
- Provide technical assistance when requested by Patriot Fire Unit and Battalion and assist with equipment exchanges.
- Support testing, operation and repair of all Environmental Control Units, including commercial off the shelf units.
- Interface with equipment manufacturer for follow on support on a required basis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands on knowledge and experience operating, maintaining, sustaining, and debugging of HVAC/Environmental Control Units.
- HVAC Certification.
- Must be able to work in extreme desert heat environments and lift 50 pounds.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years’ experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
- Experience living and working in an overseas location.

Salary Range
- The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD 165,200 USD per year.

- Onsite role: Employees working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret.
