Role Overview
Define and execute pricing strategies across the Middle East to optimize value realization, patient access, and business sustainability.
Partner with Global Pricing & Analytics, Market Access, Finance, and Commercial teams on aligned, compliant, data-driven pricing decisions.
Support complex pricing environments, launch readiness, and innovative pricing and access solutions.
Regional Pricing and Governance
- Lead regional pricing strategies aligned with global guidance and local market dynamics.
- Drive price positioning across countries while balancing access, value, and profitability.
- Provide input into launch pricing, lifecycle management, and business case development.
- Lead pricing submissions through governance processes and follow Global Price Governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, competition law, and internal approval processes.
Market Access and Analytics
- Align pricing and reimbursement strategies with Market Access teams.
- Support value dossiers, health economic evidence, payer value narratives, and payer negotiations.
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis and benchmarking across markets.
- Maintain pricing databases and global price systems to ensure data integrity.
- Translate analytics into actionable pricing insights.
Cross-Functional and External Engagement
- Act as the regional pricing contact for Global Pricing & Analytics and Global Value & Access.
- Collaborate with Finance, Regulatory, Commercial, and Government Affairs teams.
- Support affiliate teams with pricing strategies and business cases.
- Develop and pilot innovative pricing approaches such as access schemes, tier pricing, and value-based agreements.
- Monitor regulatory and policy changes affecting pricing and access.
Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced degree in health economics, pharmacy, business, or a related field.
- Strong pharmaceutical-industry experience in pricing, market access, or health economics.
- Expertise in pricing strategy, reimbursement systems, and Middle East policy environments.
- Experience working with global or regional teams in matrix organizations.
