Brief Summary

  • Join our dynamic team as a Presales Engineer, where you will collaborate with sales to craft tailored cloud and enterprise IT solutions that meet client needs and drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and create scalable, cost effective solutions.
  • Design and propose comprehensive solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and security areas.
  • Conduct engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concept sessions for clients.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, written solutions, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams for solution validation and pricing.
  • Assist with responses to RFPs/RFIs, Statements of Work (SOW), and relevant implementation documentation.
  • Ensure solution feasibility in partnership with delivery and engineering teams.
  • Stay informed on the latest cloud technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Utilize tools to enhance proposal efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, certifications, and technical training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant education in a technical field.
  • Experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting within cloud or IT services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (experience with AWS preferred; familiarity with Azure or GCP is advantageous).
  • Proven ability to convert business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience in proposal writing, costing, and solution design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast paced, sales oriented environment.
  • Preferred: AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Cloud Operations).
  • Experience with managed service providers, cloud migration, or managed services is beneficial.
  • Exposure to security, monitoring, or observability solutions is a plus.
