Role Overview
Anona is seeking a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook for its kitchen team in Dubai.
The role supports daily kitchen production while maintaining standards for quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, cut, chop, slice, and portion ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
- Prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients for daily production.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation instructions accurately.
- Measure and organize ingredients before cooking and production.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
- Label, store, and rotate ingredients according to food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized preparation area.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Support high-volume meal production and complete preparation tasks on time.
- Minimize food waste through proper handling and portioning.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role is required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is required.
- Good knife skills and efficient ingredient preparation ability are required.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures is required.
- The candidate must be able to follow instructions, recipes, and portion standards accurately.
- The candidate must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
- Physical ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment is required.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail are required.

- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
