Role Overview
Anona is expanding its meal plan delivery operation into the UAE and is hiring a Van Driver.
The role involves collecting prepared meal orders and delivering them safely and courteously to customers and designated locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up daily meal orders from the company kitchen or distribution center.
- Deliver meals to homes, offices, or designated drop-off points according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintain proper temperature and hygiene conditions during meal transport.
- Verify order accuracy and obtain customer signatures or delivery confirmations.
- Handle meal bags and containers carefully to prevent damage or spillage.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, kitchen staff, and customers about delivery updates or problems.
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Represent the company through professional and courteous client service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven delivery-driver experience; food-delivery experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with GPS systems, route planning, and local areas.
