Work arrangement
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE, with work performed in person.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pastries, cookies, cakes, mousses, desserts, and other pastry items.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation standards accurately.
- Support the Pastry Chef and senior kitchen team with daily production.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Prepare, organize, store, label, and properly handle ingredients and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Support high-volume production and meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Pastry or in a similar pastry kitchen role.
- Basic pastry preparation and technique knowledge.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
- Willingness to learn and develop pastry skills.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
