- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components

- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Complete required documentation of repairs and service information

Job Purpose
- Maintains and repairs industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks & hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoots problems and repairs or replace worn or broken parts as necessary.
- Performance is aimed at ensuring a minimum downtime of the equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Perform voltage changes on generators based on customer requirements.
- Re wire, adjust, upgrade/install control panels and voltage regulators.
- Determine necessary parts and special tools required to complete jobs.
- Diagnose issues with the Alternator.
- Adjust speed controls and various settings.
- Run load bank tests on the generator.
- Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor and Service Manager on project progress, estimates.
- Maintain a safe work environment at work sites.
- Use electronic software and tools to diagnose, repair and reprogram generator controllers and related parameters.
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
HSE Responsibilities
- Adhere to follow all company Quality, Health, Safety, And Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Promptly identify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
- Properly use, maintain, and store personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools.
- Attend and actively participate in mandatory Safety inductions, HSE trainings, safety meetings, emergency drills and root cause investigations.
- Follow established emergency response procedures.
- Follow protocols to minimize environmental impact.
- Provide suggestions to enhance Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
