This Power BI Developer role supports one of Weekday AI’s clients.
The position is full-time and based in Bengaluru, Pune, or Gurugram, India.
The role requires at least 4 years of experience according to the stated minimum experience.
Core responsibilities
- Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports.
- Connect, import, and transform data from multiple sources for business intelligence.
- Build tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards.
- Design reporting methodologies and maintain project documentation.
- Architect reporting solutions based on client needs and business requirements.
Technical skills
- Required skills include Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, SQL, Analysis Services, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Use advanced calculations, query performance tuning, data modeling, row-level security, and dashboard optimization.
- Apply knowledge of relational and multidimensional database design.
Required qualifications
- Experience with Power BI report development, dashboards, KPI scorecards, data transformation, and reporting models.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP.
- Understanding of data governance, quality, security, and application security models.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and business acumen.
Analytics and client delivery
- Interact with customers to understand business problems and provide analytics solutions.
- Analyze large and multiple datasets or data warehouses and identify data issues or anomalies.
- Derive insights and create presentations for client teams.
- Collaborate with UX/UI functions to design effective visualizations.
- Deliver accurate outputs under pressure and against deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Azure and connecting Synapse with Tableau is preferred.
- Strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing is preferred.
- Experience with Azure, Synapse, MS SQL databases, and large-scale distributed data systems is preferred.

- The role is listed as on-site and may be based in Bengaluru, Pune, or Gurugram, India.
