Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC system design for control rooms, substations, telecom shelters, buildings, hazardous area ventilation, pressurization, and smoke management systems
- Perform heat load calculations using HAP/Carrier software or equivalent
- Perform equipment sizing and selection (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust systems)
- Develop and review HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, and schematics
- Develop and review material requisitions (MR) and technical bid evaluations (TBE)
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC engineering standards and international codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ISO)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil)
- Review vendor documents and approve HVAC equipment submittals
- Support procurement and ensure timely material delivery
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning
- Participate in HAZOP/HAZID studies, design reviews, and safety audits
- Lead and mentor HVAC engineers and designers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years experience in HVAC Engineering, with at least 5 years as a Lead Engineer
- Experience in mega ADNOC Oil processing EPC/EPCm projects
- Experience with HAP/Carrier, AutoCAD, Revit software
- Familiar with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, DW144 standards
- Familiar with ADNOC specifications and procedures
- Familiar with explosion proof HVAC systems and redundancy and reliability design philosophy

The Role

Skills And Qualifications
