Job Objective

  • Lead the design, engineering, and execution of HVAC systems for oil & gas facilities, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications.
  • The role is responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and energy efficient HVAC solutions across all project phases.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in HVAC Engineering, with minimum 5 years experience as a Lead Engineer
  • Experienced in mega ADNOC Oil processing EPC/EPCm projects
  • Experience in the use of HAP / Carrier, AutoCAD, Revit software
  • Familiar with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, DW144 standards
  • Familiar with ADNOC specifications and procedures
  • Familiar with explosion proof HVAC systems and redundancy and reliability design philosophy

Lead HVAC system design for

  • Control rooms, substations, telecom shelters, and buildings
  • Hazardous area ventilation systems
  • Pressurization and smoke management systems

Perform

  • Heat load calculations (HAP/Carrier software or equivalent)
  • Equipment sizing and selection (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust systems)

Develop and review

  • HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, and schematics
  • Material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE)

Ensure compliance with

  • ADNOC engineering standards
  • International codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ISO)
