- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

Job Description
- Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior I&C Engineer for ADNOC Gas.
- The position will be onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Role
- Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design.
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
- Coordinate, Monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor.
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface.
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Ensure integration of overall Instrumentation Engineering.
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work.
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in development and analysis of design options.
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection.
- Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with corporate guidelines for environment and health.
- Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
- Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation.
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning.
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager.
- Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in various departments.
- Interface regularly with Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
