Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing support on Project Management activities to Project team throughout all phases of project execution on management matters related to the allocated portions of the scope
  • Responsible for delivery of all systems from design to handover meeting all Project objectives
  • Develops EPC Scope of Work and supports EPC tendering activities
  • Prepares gate deliverables in accordance with ADNOC Value Assurance Process (VAP)
  • Works in close co ordination with Project Manager for the supervision of the Integrated Project Management Team to ensure that the project objectives are met
  • Reports regularly to the Project Manager on Project status, critical issues and areas of concern that may affect performance targets and Project objectives
  • Ensures project compliance with HSE requirements, meeting HSE performance targets during all phases of the project
  • Manages the Project Engineering team comprising of Project Engineers to ensure they perform to their optimum potential
  • Stewards the activities of Contractor in liaison with the Project Engineers to ensure that the Project is executed in accordance with the Contract
  • Monitors Contractor efforts in managing interfaces with other EPC Contractors, ADNOC Groups/Departments, other operating Companies
  • Contributes to the development and definition of project execution strategies, scope of work, schedule and budgetary cost estimates
  • Monitors Project Team activities to ensure that contractor critical subcontracts are awarded and executed according to the project schedule, quality and cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  • Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
