Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in refining industry preferably in Delayed Coker Unit and Mild Hydrocracking Unit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

The Role
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Senior Piping Engineer with a proven track record in designing, analyzing and ensuring the integrity of piping systems for safe and efficient transport of fluids and gases in industrial settings for a high profile client.
Key Objectives
- Provide technical expertise in all Piping design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, Monitor and handle Piping design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Piping Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in refining industry preferably in Delayed Coker Unit and Mild Hydrocracking Unit

Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure integration of overall Piping Engineering. Overall coordination within IPMT Piping Engineering Team
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant's & EPC Contractor's Piping Engineering design activities
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor's work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
- Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
- Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects
- Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects
- Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
- Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
Reporting and Interface
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
- Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
- Interface regularly with Contractor's Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required
