Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in all mechanical equipment design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Engineering deliverables
- Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Engineering and coordinate within IPMT team
- Participate in layout reviews, model reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning and commissioning
- Interface with ADNOC stakeholders, EPC contractors, and discipline engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment in refining, specifically in Delayed Coker Unit and Mild Hydrocracker Unit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

Job Objective
- Provide technical expertise in all mechanical equipment design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site Interface to resolve technical issues
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Engineering deliverables
Responsibilities
- Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Engineering and overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Engineering Team
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Engineering design activities
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards
- Coordinate required engineering participation in development and analysis of various design options and business models
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing/equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
- Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with latest corporate guidelines for environment and health
- Ensure full utilization of existing facilities while optimizing facilities for new projects
- Participate in layout reviews, model reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
- Coordinate technical reviews, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning and commissioning
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and support Project Managers and Engineers
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment in refining, specifically in Delayed Coker Unit and Mild Hydrocracker Unit
