Expected

  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
  • Typically 15 20+ years Oil & Gas experience.
  • Minimum 8 10 years offshore construction/installations experience.
  • Strong experience in PMC or Client representative role.
  • Experience in Middle East offshore projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADNOC Offshore standards highly desirable.

Construction & Installation Management

  • Manage offshore construction and installation activities for jackets, topsides, pipelines, subsea structures, and brownfield modifications.
  • Ensure execution complies with approved project scope, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
  • Supervise EPC contractor construction strategies and installation methodologies.
  • Review and approve construction procedures, method statements, and lifting plans.
  • Monitor installation schedules and offshore campaign readiness.

Project Execution Oversight

  • Act as PMC focal point between ADNOC Offshore and EPC contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and risk assessments.
  • Monitor fabrication yard progress and readiness for offshore load-out.
  • Support offshore hook-up, commissioning, and start-up activities.

Hse Leadership

  • Promote ADNOC HSE culture and Life Saving Rules compliance.
  • Ensure contractors implement safe offshore installation practices.
  • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and risk mitigation workshops.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety reviews offshore and at yards.
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.

Contractor & Interface Management

  • Manage interfaces among engineering, procurement, marine operations, and offshore construction teams.
  • Review contractor resource mobilization plans (vessels, cranes, manpower).
  • Resolve technical and operational installation issues.
  • Coordinate marine spread and offshore logistics activities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure construction meets ADNOC specifications and project quality plans.
  • Witness critical installation activities and acceptance tests.
  • Monitor welding, coating, mechanical completion, and system handover.
  • Verify documentation for mechanical completion and pre-commissioning.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide weekly and monthly construction progress reports.
  • Advise ADNOC Project Management Team on risks and recovery plans.
  • Track KPIs, milestones, and contractor performance metrics.
  • Support management reviews and executive reporting.
