- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Static Engineering deliverables
- Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Static Engineering and coordinate within IPMT team
- Participate in layout reviews, model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning and commissioning
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader and Engineering Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

- We are currently recruiting for PMC Lead Static Engineer role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in all mechanical static equipment design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, Monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Static Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors
- Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Static Engineering and overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Static Engineering Team
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Static Engineering design activities
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
- Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects
- Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
- Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
- Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
- Interface regularly with Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
