  • We are currently recruiting for PMC Lead Static Engineer role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
  • Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in all mechanical static equipment design
  • Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
  • Coordinate, Monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation
  • Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues
  • Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Static Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors
  • Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Static Engineering and overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Static Engineering Team
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Static Engineering design activities
  • Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards
  • Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
  • Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
  • Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects
  • Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
  • Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
  • Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
  • Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
  • Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
  • Interface regularly with Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  • Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
