About the Role
Wood is hiring a PMC Lead I&C Engineer to provide technical expertise in instrumentation design for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Requires 15+ years experience in oil & gas industry and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site Interface to resolve technical issues
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
- Ensure integration of overall Instrumentation Engineering and coordination within IPMT team
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work
- Coordinate engineering participation in development and analysis of design options and business models
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing/equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
- Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with corporate guidelines on environment and health
- Participate in layout reviews, model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

Job Objective
- Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, Monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation
- Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
- Ensure integration of overall Instrumentation Engineering
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Instrumentation Engineering design activities
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
- Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects
- Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
