About the Role
Wood is recruiting a Lead Instrument Engineer for the ADNOC Offshore US LTDP project in Abu Dhabi. - Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
- Coordinate, monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
- Participate in layout reviews, model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems

Job Description
- Wood is recruiting for Lead Instrument Engineer under ADNOC Offshore US LTDP project.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design.
- Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
- Coordinate, Monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor.
- Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables.
- Ensure integration of overall Instrumentation Engineering.
- Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work.
- Coordinate the required engineering participation in development and analysis of design options.
- Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection.
- Ensure facilities are designed in accordance with corporate guidelines on environment and health.
- Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
- Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
