About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Constructability Program in line with ADNOC project requirements
- Prepare the Constructability Execution Plan (CEP) and ensure integration with overall project execution strategy
- Review FEED and detailed engineering deliverables to ensure ease of construction and installation
- Identify modularization and prefabrication opportunities to reduce schedule and cost
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and EPC contractor construction teams
- Conduct constructability workshops and design reviews with stakeholders
- Evaluate and approve construction methodologies including heavy lifting plans and site logistics
- Identify constructability related risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Provide ongoing support during construction phase and conduct site visits
- Capture and document lessons learned for future projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in PMC constructability roles on large oil and gas projects
- In depth knowledge of ADNOC standards and specifications
- Experience with FEED and detailed engineering design reviews
- Strong understanding of modularization and prefabrication techniques
- Ability to conduct constructability workshops and risk assessments

Job Objective
- The PMC Constructability Specialist is responsible for ensuring that engineering designs are optimized for efficient, safe, and cost effective construction and installation.
- The role bridges engineering and construction by embedding constructability principles early in the design phase and throughout project execution.
Constructability Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement the Constructability Program in line with ADNOC project requirements
- Prepare the Constructability Execution Plan (CEP) and ensure integration with overall project execution strategy
- Define constructability objectives, procedures, and KPIs
Design Review & Optimization
- Review FEED and detailed engineering deliverables to ensure ease of construction and installation
- Modularization and prefabrication opportunities
- Accessibility for construction and maintenance
- Provide early input to eliminate design inefficiencies and reduce rework
- Ensure alignment with ADNOC standards, specifications, and HSE requirements
Interface with Engineering & EPC Contractors
- Coordinate closely with engineering disciplines (civil, structural, piping, mechanical, E&I)
- Coordinate with EPC contractor construction teams
- Conduct constructability workshops and design reviews with stakeholders
- Ensure lessons learned from previous ADNOC projects are incorporated
Construction Methodology Review
- Evaluate and approve construction methodologies, including heavy lifting plans, module installation strategies, site logistics and sequencing
- Ensure methods are safe, practical, and optimized for site conditions.
Modularization & Prefabrication
- Identify opportunities for offsite fabrication and modular construction
- Assess benefits in terms of schedule reduction, cost savings, and risk mitigation
Risk Management
- Identify constructability related risks and constraints early
- Provide mitigation strategies for congested layouts, interface clashes, limited access or lifting constraints
- Support project risk workshops and HAZID/HAZOP reviews.
