Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all offshore commissioning activities across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems
- Ensure all systems and subsystems are safely commissioned, tested, and handed over in full compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure a smooth transition from construction completion to full operational readiness while maintaining the highest standards of HSE, quality, and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas projects
- At least 5 years in commissioning roles on major offshore projects
- Proven experience working in PMC roles on ADNOC or similar Middle East offshore developments
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes including pre commissioning, systemization, testing, and start up
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, offshore HSE requirements, and permit to work systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams in a complex offshore environment
- Experience in SIMOPS, live plant commissioning, and brownfield integration is highly preferred
- Strong coordination and interface management skills with EPC contractors and operations teams
- Proficiency in commissioning management systems, completion tools, and reporting platforms
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities

The Role

Job Objective
- The PMC Commissioning Superintendent is responsible for leading and supervising all commissioning activities for a major offshore project executed under the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) framework for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
- The role ensures that all systems and subsystems are safely commissioned, tested, and handed over in full compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and regulatory requirements.
