About the Role
Wood is seeking a PMC Commissioning Manager for an ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads planning and execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning works, managing teams and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

- Manage interface with ADNOC to execute brownfield works
- Report commissioning progress, performance, initiatives and issues
- Lead commissioning planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
- Take leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s degree in management or equivalent
- Minimum 20+ years’ experience within the oil & gas sector
- Commissioning Management experience on large projects

Job Description
- We are currently recruiting for PMC Commissioning Manager role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities
- Lead the project Commissioning team to support the objectives and strategies
- Champion safety in all construction aspects of the project and promote the safety objective that 'Nobody gets Hurt'
- Manage the project Module Fabrication on Commissioning teams responsible for planning, development and operations
- Manage the Contractor’s commissioning planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with project objectives
- Establish a commissioning organization to implement project execution plans and procedures
- Provide execution strategy support to the project Team
- Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations
- Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for commissioning, including SIMOPS
- Assist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans
- Steward interfaces and interactions between the Contractor and other project entities
- Manage the interface with ADNOC to execute brownfield works
- Report commissioning progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s degree in management or equivalent
- Minimum 20+ years’ experience within the oil & gas sector, including Commissioning Management experience on large projects
