Role Overview
Planning Manager role based in Dubai, UAE.
The employer is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy with major GCC development projects.
The role oversees planning and scheduling for complex projects, including towers, high-rise buildings, and hotel or hospitality developments.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 25,000–30,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and report delays and potential risks.
- Assess Extension of Time claims using delay analysis.
- Ensure delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Review specifications and technical drawings and support cost and material estimates.
- Prepare planning studies and regular progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Support planning and scheduling software use.
- Delegate tasks and guide team members.
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant project planning and scheduling experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Experience with towers, high-rise buildings, and hotel or hospitality projects.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and project management background.
- Experience with delay analysis and Extension of Time claims.
- Understanding of contracts, budgets, and project controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong MS Office and planning or scheduling software skills.
- Large consultancy experience in the GCC is highly advantageous.
