- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and specifications
- Experience in construction or interior fit out projects in GCC region is an advantage

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Planning Engineer role based in Doha.
- The Planning Engineer will develop, update, and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope, milestones, and resource availability.
- Responsibilities include preparing detailed work programs, tracking progress, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on time and within budget.
- The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align planning data with actual site conditions.
- The Planning Engineer will also support project control functions by preparing progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts, while contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong project planning and production planning skills, including creating and maintaining detailed schedules and work breakdown structures.
- Minimum of 12 years Experience is required in the field.
- Proven analytical skills and project control experience to monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office tools.
- Experience in construction or interior fit out projects in the GCC region is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and specifications, and to work under time sensitive project deadlines.
