- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to promote sustainable practices

- Monitor waste management, resource consumption, pollution prevention measures, and recommend corrective actions where needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 14001), including environmental risk assessment, impact mitigation, and compliance monitoring
- Experience in construction or related industries, with practical understanding of site activities, waste management practices, and pollution prevention controls
- Strong skills in report writing, documentation, and data analysis to track environmental performance indicators and prepare regulatory or internal reports
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines in Qatar or the broader GCC region
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities, and to conduct training or awareness sessions
- Attention to detail, problem solving mindset, and capacity to recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage
- Proficiency with basic office and project management software; familiarity with environmental monitoring tools or databases is a plus
- Ability to work on site full time in Doha, conduct regular field inspections, and adapt to changing project priorities and timelines

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Environmental Officer role based in Doha.

- Day to day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying potential environmental risks, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
