Job Title: FLS (Fire & Life Safety) Engineer – Facilities Management
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced FLS (Fire & Life Safety) Engineer to join our Facilities Management team in Doha.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all fire and life safety systems are fully operational, compliant, and maintained in accordance with Qatar regulations, including approvals from the Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, testing, and maintenance of all Fire & Life Safety systems across assigned facilities
- Ensure full compliance with

- for inspections, approvals, and certifications
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm, firefighting, and emergency systems
- Review and validate contractor work related to FLS systems
- Maintain proper documentation for system testing, maintenance logs, and compliance reports
- Support emergency response planning and incident investigations
- Train FM staff and occupants on fire safety procedures and evacuation protocols

- Fire Alarm Systems (addressable & conventional)
- Fire Fighting Systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels)
- Fire Suppression Systems (FM-200, CO₂, clean agent systems)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Fire & Life Safety within Facilities Management projects
- Mandatory experience working with
- QCDD approvals and regulations
- **Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local Qatar codes**
- **Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or mixed-use developments**
- **Ability to manage multiple sites and contractors**
Certifications (Preferred And Required)
- QCDD-approved Engineer (mandatory or transferable approval preferred)
- NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certification
- Relevant fire safety or firefighting system certifications
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM systems
