Job Summary
Electrical Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure and building projects, with strong experience in Ashghal requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions
- Analyze project scope, risks, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors for quotations
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards and project requirements
- Support value engineering and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6-8 years of estimation experience in Qatar with Contractors
- Proven experience in Ashghal projects (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (MV/LV, street lighting, infrastructure)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation tools
Preferred
- Familiarity with Ashghal specifications (QCS / QHDM)
- Experience in infrastructure and road projects
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
