Role Overview
My Clinic is seeking a Pharmacist for its multispecialty outpatient care operations in Saudi Arabia.
The role combines medication dispensing, patient counseling, e-prescription processing, insurance handling, pharmacy administration, and team oversight.
Responsibilities
- Dispense physician-prescribed drugs after standard verification and confirmation of medications prepared by pharmacy technicians.
- Complete e-prescriptions and pharmacy sales activities using the My Clinic information system and related devices.
- Maintain the cash register, prepare daily financial statements, and complete cash handover according to policy.
- Maintain knowledge of the approved formulary, medicines, herbal preparations, consumer products, medical devices, and special-needs materials.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, interactions, side effects, non-prescription remedies, supplements, exercise, and diet.
- Process insurance approvals, maintain documentation, supervise pharmacy support staff, and complete prescription files and reports.
- Follow infection-control, safety, security, pharmacy, and Ministry of Health procedures and regulations.
- Maintain professional knowledge and report equipment, workspace, and safety issues to the appropriate teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
