- Check expiry dates regularly and ensure proper handling of near expiry or expired medications
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles, prescription records, dispensing logs, and required pharmacy documentation
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, company policies, pharmacy standards, and medication safety protocols
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and effective patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent
- Valid DHA Pharmacist License
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist in a pharmacy, clinic, medical center, hospital, or healthcare facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of medications, dosage forms, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safety
- Good understanding of DHA pharmacy regulations and pharmaceutical standards
- Excellent communication, counselling, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy operations efficiently
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills

Overview
- We are hiring a qualified and professional Female Pharmacist with a valid DHA License and own visa or spouse visa to join our healthcare sector team on an immediate basis.
- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication safety, patient counselling, inventory control, and DHA regulatory requirements.
- The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, reviewing prescriptions, advising patients on proper medication use, maintaining pharmacy stock, and ensuring all pharmacy operations comply with healthcare regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately according to valid prescriptions, physician instructions, and DHA regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions carefully for correct dosage, frequency, duration, route of administration, and patient suitability.
- Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, duplicate therapies, or medication errors.
- Clarify prescription related concerns with physicians or healthcare providers when necessary.
- Ensure all medications are labelled correctly with proper dosage instructions and safety information.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all dispensing activities.
- Provide clear medication counselling to patients regarding dosage, timing, administration, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Educate patients on proper medication compliance and the importance of completing prescribed treatment courses.
- Advise patients on over the counter medications, supplements, and general medication safety where appropriate.
- Answer patient questions professionally and explain medical information in a simple and understandable manner.
- Identify patients who may require further medical attention and refer them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle all medical information with care and professionalism.
Operational Responsibilities
- Manage day to day pharmacy operations in accordance with company policies and healthcare standards.
- Monitor pharmacy stock levels and coordinate timely ordering of medications and medical supplies.
- Check expiry dates regularly and ensure proper handling of near expiry or expired medications.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medications, including temperature sensitive and controlled items where applicable.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, safe, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock audits when required.
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles, prescription records, dispensing logs, and required pharmacy documentation.
- Ensure all pharmacy records are complete, updated, and available for inspection or audit when needed.
- Follow DHA regulations, company policies, pharmacy standards, and medication safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with controlled medication procedures, documentation, and storage requirements where applicable.
- Support internal audits, quality checks, and regulatory inspections.
- Report medication errors, stock discrepancies, expired medicines, or safety concerns to management promptly.
Collaboration and Service
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and effective patient care.
- Communicate medication related concerns, prescription clarifications, or patient safety issues to the appropriate medical team.
- Support healthcare staff with medication information, availability, alternatives, and usage guidance.
- Assist in improving pharmacy workflows, patient service, and medication management processes.
- Supervise pharmacy assistants or technicians where applicable and ensure they follow pharmacy procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients, clients, and healthcare partners.
- Handle patient concerns, complaints, or medication related queries calmly and professionally.
- Support smooth pharmacy service delivery during busy periods.
- Perform additional pharmacy related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid DHA Pharmacist License is required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist in a pharmacy, clinic, medical center, hospital, or healthcare facility is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medications, dosage forms, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safety.
- Good understanding of DHA pharmacy regulations and pharmaceutical standards.
- Experience with pharmacy management software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy operations efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
