General Overview
Recruit an experienced Pediatric Clinical Psychologist for a growing clinical team within a multidisciplinary healthcare provider in Dubai.
The ideal candidate has 18 or more years of clinical experience and extensive expertise in pediatric and developmental psychology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
- Conduct and interpret ADOS assessments and contribute to autism diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop personalized treatment and intervention plans based on clinical assessments.
- Provide psychological therapy and behavioural support where appropriate.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and other clinicians.
- Provide families with appropriate guidance and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.
Key Requirements
- DHA Licensed Clinical Psychologist is mandatory.
- At least 18 years of professional clinical experience.
- Extensive experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong background in Pediatric Clinical Psychology and developmental assessments.
- ADOS-trained or certified, with practical experience conducting autism assessments.
- Proven experience with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Strong expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, clinical formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient- and family-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
